FAQ

Between one and three weeks. All Ralhenta items, except for the Grown to be Worn line (limited editions, produced in Portugal, from 55% hemp and 45% organic cotton), are made to order (print on-demand) especially for you, to ensure that we do not create waste by producing extra items that may end up in the warehouse. In other words, your order only begins to be processed and printed after you make your purchase on the website. Each item ordered is made and shipped to the address you specify, directly by our partner through their centers in Spain or Latvia.

During festive periods and peak order volumes, such as Christmas, shipping times may be subject to change for various reasons, on the part of the supplier and delivery companies, beyond Ralhenta's control.

For more information, please see our Shipping and Returns Policy .

Producing to order allows us to better manage resources, avoid stagnant inventory, and test new phrases and ideas without producing more than necessary. It's an option that ensures the project's sustainability as it grows and allows us to maintain creative freedom. In this way, we are contributing to reducing the levels of textile surplus that go to landfills. Although this means you will have to wait longer for your order, believe me, your patience is worthwhile. Thank you for your understanding.

Ralhenta only accepts returns, at no additional cost to you, in situations where there are incorrect or damaged orders, and may offer an exchange or refund. In these cases, you must send an email to ana@ralhenta.com within 14 consecutive days of receiving your order, indicating your order number and attaching photos of the errors/defects in the item(s).

Please see our Shipping and Returns Policy .

With the exception of the Grown to be Worn line (limited editions, produced in Portugal), all Ralhenta products are print-on-demand. In this regard, we work with a supplier that works with several brands and ships Ralhenta products directly to our customers from their warehouses in Spain and Latvia.

For DTG products, our print-on-demand partner/supplier uses Kornit water-based inks and NeoPigment, which are Oeko-Tex™ certified, meaning they are safe for printing on children's clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high AATCC fade-resistant rating of 4 (link in English).

All Ralhenta items are free of animal products. All Stanley/Stella products (t-shirts) are also PETA approved.

Ralhenta has not yet found a partner in Portugal that provides printing and shipping services on demand. If you know of any sustainable material suppliers interested in this partnership, please contact ana@ralhenta.com

Why hemp?

Hemp is a strong and durable natural fiber. It grows quickly, requires less water than many conventional textile crops, and eliminates the need for intensive pesticide use. During its growth, it contributes to soil regeneration and captures carbon from the atmosphere. In fabric form, hemp is extremely strong and durable: the fibers maintain their integrity even after many washes and tend to soften with use without losing strength.

For decades, hemp cultivation was limited by legislation and prejudice. This delayed its spread and left the industry without scale. Today, it remains a less common raw material, not due to lack of quality, but due to structural limitations in the production chain.

Hemp processing requires specific techniques: the fiber is harder to process, the looms are different, and many steps are still manual. The smaller scale of production and limited supply contribute to a higher cost compared to conventional fibers.

Yes. A hemp piece is made to last. It withstands wear and tear better, softens over time, and can replace several others in the cabinet. Every euro pays for quality, durability, and a conscious choice regarding the origin of the raw material.
